The Royal Mail are an invaluable service, especially over the busier periods such as Christmas.
They are on the lookout for workers all-year-round but during the holidays there are often more opportunities available for those after part-time work.
Every year the Royal Mail ask for seasonal mail sorters, whose job it is to help sort the Christmas letters and presents so they get to people on time.

Salary: £11.40 per hour to 13.70 per hour for nights
Duties: Unloading mail and parcels from vans, moving them through warehouses and ensuring that they arrive at their destination safely.

Salary: £10.85 (aged 18+). £8.44 (aged 17) plus an additional £5.83 per hour Sunday premium
Duties: Sort and deliver mail to your round for between four to six hours

Cleaning Operative
Location: Hertford
Salary: £8.91 per hour. Your salary will increase to £9.35 per hour after 24 months
Duties: Mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting and sanitising surfaces safely and professionally to a high standard.
Vehicle Technician
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: Basic salary of £29,411 per annum, an area allowance of £1,826.27 per annum, plus a fleet allowance of £641.76 per annum and a shift allowance of £76.45 per week when working the 14:00 – 22:00 shift
Duties: Perform a full range of inspections, diagnosis, maintenance and repair procedures on a range of vehicle, trailers and mechanical equipment operated by Royal Mail Group.
HGV LGV CE Class 1 Driver
Location: Hatfield
Salary: £20.85-£23.49 per hour
Duties: Perform a full range of inspections, diagnosis, maintenance and repair procedures on a range of vehicle, trailers and mechanical equipment operated by Royal Mail Group.
