With the festive season fast approaching it may be time to step into a new (temporary) career.

As the high street is gearing up to experience its busiest time of the year – stores across Surrey need your help as hundreds of people search for the perfect gift.

If you want to get a temporary job especially for the festive season, now is the time to tidy up your CV and start your search as retailers prepare for the Christmas rush.

Some roles require prior retail experience, while other vacancies are searching for potential workers with a cheerful personality and a can-do approach.

SurreyLive has created a list (and checked it twice) of fab festive roles including a position in a whisky shop to  to Father Christmas from areas in Farnham, Guildford, Leatherhead, Reigate and Woking.

Farnham

Squires Garden Centres is recruiting seasonal car park assistants and Christmas tree sales assistants in Badshot Lea. Babylon Trading is currently recruiting a part-time sales consultant to work 2 to 4 days per week. The independent store specialises in selling furniture, jewellery, fashion, home ware and giftware.
