7 a.m.: Post office to be renamed for Carson (The Herald Bulletin)

INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis post office branch will be renamed for the late U.S. Rep. Julia Carson. The U.S. Senate on Tuesday approved a bill by Indiana Sens. Richard Lugar and Evan Bayh to rename the Mapleton Station Post Office the Julia M. Carson Post Office Building.
