An art exhibition in Invergordon next week will showcase the work of artistic talents from across the Highlands.
Paintings and other artworks will be on view at the four-day Invergordon Museum and Royal Legion fundraising event which begins on Thursday.
Part of ongoing efforts to attract more people to the Ross-shire town, it is hoped the exhibition will become an annual event.
The town’s naval museum and heritage centre and British Legion will benefit from a small fee and 10 per cent of an artist’s sales.
Museum vice-chairman James Collier said: “We already have the guaranteed presence of around 70 paintings from artists around the Highlands and further afield.
“The artworks are of an amazing standard and we are hoping it will bring people from far and wide to visit the museum and hopefully take home something beautiful.”
“Although the art exhibition will be raising money for the museum, it is also about giving artists from the Highlands a chance to showcase their talents while the town, as a whole, benefits.”
Last entries for exhibitors will be the morning of Wednesday, May 24, with the artist required to visit the museum, fill in a form and bring their works ready for display.
