EBay Agrees To Buy GSI Commerce For About $2.4 Bln

Online auctioner eBay, Inc. agreed Monday to acquire e-commerce solutions and services provider GSI Commerce, Inc. for $29.25 per share in cash, or a total consideration of about $2.4 billion. eBay noted that the deal, which is subject to regulatory and GSI shareholder approval, is expected to close in the third quarter of 2011.
