eBay to buy Where

EBay Inc. plans to build out its local and mobile marketing strategy with the acquisition of Where, a provider of mobile apps and ad services that connect consumers with local businesses. The deal follows eBay’s acquisitions last year of local shopping and search tools RedLaser and Milo.
