Post Office denies critics’ request for refund over tardy mailers

The U.S. Postal Service said Friday it won’t be refunding $390 spent on postage for up to 1,500 tardy mailers urging Ukiah residents to attend a hearing on the proposed closure of the historic downtown post office.
