Bernard Kaltoft of Kimballton said that Kimballton’s ‘birthday’ was 1883, when the post office – the town’s first business – first opened there. “We held our centennial in 1983 and a quasquicentennial in 2008. So if our birthdate is 1883, what do you think the date will be on Kimballton’s death certificate?”
