Post office seeks OK for 50-cent stamps

Bloomberg BusinessWeek reports: A five-year business plan that the U.S. Postal Service has submitted to Congress includes an 11 percent increase in the price of first-class stamps, to 50 cents, to prevent annual losses of as much as $18.2 billion by 2015.
