Award-winning Shirdley Hill post office is axed (Ormskirk Maghull and Skelmersdale Advertiser)

SHIRDLEY Hill Post Office in Halsall is closing its doors after being named as the latest post office to be axed. The much-loved post office on Renacres Lane officially closes for business this Friday (May 9), stamping the end of postmaster John Sharpe’s 22 years of service.
