Post office: Tax deadline is 6 p.m., not midnight

The loss of a Texarkana postmark has brought a slight change to IRS filings for local residents. According to a memo posted at the U.S. Postal Service’s main branch on Robison Road, tax documents must be mailed by 6 p.m. today in order to be postmarked the deadline to file.
