Monday will be high noon for old city post office in Cedar Falls

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — The city's first federal post office is not going down without a fight. During a committee meeting last week, the City Council voted 4-3 to salvage artifacts inside and demolish the structure at the corner of West Third and Washington streets.
