Producer Joel Silver buys former U.S. post office in Venice

Silver plans to refashion the 1939 building, a beloved Venice fixture that contains a historic mural, as the new home of his Silver Pictures. Joel Silver, producer of movie franchises "The Matrix," "Lethal Weapon" and "Sherlock Holmes," has bought the former U.S. post office in Venice and plans to refashion it as the new home of his Silver Pictures.
