Post office closes after driver hits building

According to Carencro Police Chief Carlos Stout, a 92-year-old woman put her car in drive instead of reverse and ran into the Carencro Post Office. There were no injuries and the post office is temporarily closed due to the damage. A maintenance crew is en route to repair the building and it should reopen no later than tomorrow.
