Rally for Post Office Processing Center

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — City, county and national leaders will rally Saturday to keep the Gateway Mail Processing center running. It’s on a list of sites being considered for closure by the U.S. Postal Service. The rally at noon will include appearances by Congressman Peter DeFazio, County Commissioner Pete Sorenson and Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy.
