Postmaster named citizen of the month

Robert Wakefield displays the newly refurbished eagle that adorns the post office in Mount Pleasant. The eagle’s moniker, Mumford, was given to him in honor of Mumford Stewart, the long-time postmaster at the time of the building’s construction in 1940.
