The San Luis Obispo Tribune
Anyone convicted of a drug related felony after August 22, 1996, is prohibited from receiving benefits under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, commonly known as food stamps. He pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Jackson in April.
