CHESAPEAKE A man who tried to rob the post office in the 1400 block of N. Battlefield Blvd. this morning left a package behind and implied that it contained an explosive, according to police. The man tried to rob the office about 10 a.m., said police spokeswoman Kelly O’Sullivan. She did not have additional details.
