Oxnard man pleads guilty to food stamp trafficking

An Oxnard man pleaded guilty this week to grand theft and felony trafficking of food stamps, prosecutors said Thursday. Eric Gabriel Suarez, 29, was arrested in a crackdown on store owners who illegally pay cash to food stamp recipients, prosecutors said.
