Two postal service employees throw a metal mailbox from New Canaan's old post office location – 2 Pine St. – into a dumpster behind the facility on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014. The brass doors of those boxes, however, have been sent to an asset management site, U.S. Postal Service spokesman Christine Dugas said.
