Firefighters are at the James A. Farley U.S. Post Office building in New York City investigating a possible blaze in the basement of the historic building across from Madison Square Garden. Heavy smoke was pouring through the main lobby of the building about 11 p.m. Tuesday. A fire hose was stretched into the building and firefighters appeared to be trying to enter the basement.
