Royal Mail puts aside £18m for French fine and legal fees

Postal service was caught by the competition inquiry via its French parcel delivery business GLS Royal Mail has set aside £18m to cover the costs of settling a competition inquiry by the French authorities. The privatised postal service said the French competition regulator was still investigating the case but that it had agreed in principle to settle. The fine will not be set until next year …
