Indian Rocks Beach Post Office celebrates 100 years.

INDIAN ROCKS BEACH — It cost a penny to mail a postcard when the Indian Rocks Beach post office opened 100 years ago on Dec. 10, 1914, on a mainland dirt road leading to a ferry in the Narrows part of the Intracoastal Waterway. Today the road is 113th Avenue and the area is considered unincorporated Seminole.
