Sour Lake mail rerouted following Post Office fire

Dionne Montague, Houston-area spokeswoman for the USPS, said the closure would be temporary and that all Sour Lake mail will be rerouted through Kountze until further notice. Montague said in a prepared statement that Sour Lake customers wishing to mail items, purchase stamps or pick up parcels can do so at the Kountze Post Office, 1245 S. Pine Street, during regular post office hours.
