DeWayne Lents accepted his new post as Holland postmaster Wednesday, Aug. 13 during a swearing-in ceremony among the mail-sorting equipment at the Holland Post Office, 190 E. Eighth St. “The postal service is in tough times and that’s why we need good leadership,” said Zeeland Postmaster Doug Starry. He said it was good to see Lents’ appointment as postmaster.
