New occupier for warehouse

A Warrington warehouse has been let as a a new storage facility for manufacturing company Bonfiglioli UK.

JLL has advised on the letting of a 26,005 sq ft industrial unit at Calver Quay in Warrington to Bonfiglioli UK by landlord LondonMetric.

The manufacturer of gear-motors and gear-boxes has taken a 15-year lease on the refurbished unit on Calver Road paying £6.50 per sq ft. The unit will be used predominantly for storage of their products.

Calver Quay, located one mile away from Junction 9 of the M62, is adjacent to the Royal Mail North West Distribution Centre. Other nearby occupiers include AHH Pharmaceuticals, postal logistics firm Secured Mail and wholesaler Top Grade Sportswear.

Richard Johnson, director in the industrial & logistics agency at JLL, said: “Calver Quay offers warehouse occupiers a well-located North West base, providing convenient access to Liverpool and Manchester via the M62, and to the North and South by the M6.

“The unit was refurbished to a high standard and we were confident of achieving a quick letting after the works had completed due to its modern specification, prime location and robust occupier demand coupled with a lack of available direct competition in the area. Bonfiglioli were identified due to their local presence and it was a pleasure to deal with them.”
