Charity challenge for Wrexham children’s centre

A CHARITY challenge will raise funds for a children’s centre in Wrexham

The Royal Mail Chester, North Wales and Shrewsbury Pipeline Senior Team have committed to undertake a Charity Challenge to help the Longfields Action For Children Centre on Sontley Road, Hightown.

This project, which will be undertaken in just one day will involve the building and installation of three raised planting beds with wheelchair access, for the children to grow plants and vegetables throughout the year.

It will also involve building, installing and painting a small potting shed, general garden clearance, which will include clearing a path that runs through the garden which has become overgrown with moss and weeds.

The Project event will take place on Wednesday, July 3 at the Longfields Action For Children Centre Children in Wrexham.

Organisers have received donations for top soil and gravel, and have obtained a fundraising grant to secure the remainder of materials.
