Reader’s letter: Shop landlords should be named on signs

It should be compulsory for the landlords of their often high rental shops to be named on the business signs so that customers may contact them directly regarding renewing their many dangerous to all age groups forecourts, the lack of canopy shelters for wheelchairs handrails for the less mobile, and doorbells fitted.

Safer footpaths should be provided by the council and remembering residents’ distress two years ago when an inconsiderate landlord who caused much distress by removing a well-used Royal Mail letterbox without notifying anyone – not even the postman!
