Meghan Markle ‘is banned from wearing ripped jeans and wedges at Balmoral as the Queen hates them’

Speaking to Fabulous Digital, the source said: “The Queen is no favourite of jeans so the US boyfriend look and ripped jeans will be left in Frogmore Cottage along with any wedges which her Majesty hates with a passion.”

Meghan Markle has often demonstrated she is a fan of wearing denim, and recently caused a stir when she showed up at Wimbledon wearing jeans.

The source said that Meghan Markle has worn Barbour jackets, Muck Boots and black Hunter boots in the past, so we could see her digging them out if she heads to the country retreat.

They said: “It has been mentioned that Meghan could well be wearing a few Scottish designers whilst at Balmoral and for church appearances with the Queen.

THE QUEEN’S SUMMER RETREAT AT BALMORAL

Balmoral Castle has been a Royal residence since 1852.

The estate and its original castle were purchased privately by Prince Albert, consort to Queen Victoria, and to this day remain the private property of the Royal Family.

The castle is classified by Historic Scotland as a category A listed building, and costs around £3 million annually to run.

Every summer, the Monarch returns to the Balmoral estate with her husband Prince Philip.

Throughout the summer, much of the royal family – including Charles, Camilla, William, and Kate – will join her and Prince Philip for their annual “summer break.”

The Royal residence has often been described as “the most beautiful place on Earth” and is often referred to as the Queen’s favourite home.

The Queen is often seen riding horses or driving her beloved Range Rover over the estate’s rugged terrain.

The castle gardens were first opened to the public in 1931.

They now open daily between April and the end of July, after which Queen Elizabeth arrives for her annual stay.

“Meghan has soft spot for North Lanarkshire born designer Christopher Kane, now a globally sought-after designer.”

Balmoral is the Queen’s favourite summer pad, and she goes there every year with her family.

Last week, the 93-year-old monarch kicked off her summer holidays at Balmoral, and was met by soldiers of the Royal Regiment of Scotland.

It is thought this year Meghan will visit the castle for the first time, where the Sussexes will be given their own wing, as well as enjoying a traditional afternoon tea with Her Maj.

A source told the Sun on Sunday: “The Queen and Prince Philip adore the couple and, of course, their new great-grandson Archie, and they have invited them to Balmoral for a few days.

“It is testament to Meghan that she has been given this invite. It’s a huge honour.”

Typically the royals spend their Balmoral summers hunting, and there have been rumours that Meghan is strongly against any blood sports.

The animal-loving duchess may be breathing a sigh of relief as the long-held tradition of grouse hunting at Balmoral may not take place this year.

An estate source told the Mail: “Grouse numbers go up and down but this year they have plummeted.

“There probably will be no grouse shooting on Balmoral this season. It’s very disappointing. There is still [deer] stalking.”

Writing for the Daily Mail, royal expert Robert Jobson claims the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are understood to be waiting until Harry and Meghan return to Windsor before they head up to Scotland for their annual visit.

The expert claims Kate and William want to avoid Prince Harry after he said in wants “two kids, maximum” to save the planet.

He wrote: “The Duke of Sussex’s latest ‘woke’ outburst, in which he declared that he and Meghan plan to have only two children ‘maximum’ in a bid to save the planet, may well have irked the Cambridges, who already have three.”

The royal commentator also highlighted how Meghan may have rubbed her sister-in-law up the wrong way when she said she didn’t want to appear “boastful” by appearing on the front cover of her Vogue September issue.
