Royal Mail “Redirection” by M&C Saatchi

Royal Mail’s latest campaign highlights the perils of moving house.

Making light of a serious matter, Royal Mail urges the public to redict their letters when moving home.

The spot stars two nostalgic homeowners as they prepare to relocate. The pair scavenge through years’ worth of quirky trinkets, including a disco ball, a pinecone and what appears to be a dead hamster (rest in peace Maxi). However, in all the bustle they forget to redirect their post via Royal Mail, making them vulnerable to identity fraud – a crime previously brought to light in 2017’s spot “Heist”. The work was written by Tom Anderson, art directed by Will Towle and directed by Tom Geens through Screen Productions.
