New way to send parcels come to Basingstoke

SENDING parcels has now become a lot easier for residents in Basingstoke.

The Royal Mail has introduced its new Parcel Postbox’s around the county, and a number of them will be popping up around the town.

By introducing the new postbox it eliminates the middle man of having to make a trip to the Post Office in order to send a package.

Parcel Postboxes are ideally suited for a fast and easy local drop off, and when a certificate of posting is not required.

Postage can be purchased online through the Royal Mail’s click and drop service or on their app, with labels able to be printed off at home before posting.

The maximum Parcel size allowed into our new Postboxes is 44cm x 35cm x 16cm.

In Basingstoke there are Parcel Postbox’s situated in London Street, Houndmills Road, Jays Close, Priestley Road, Stewart Road and Lister Road.
