Ellie Goulding strolls through a picturesque palace in honeymoon snaps after marrying Caspar Jopling

Ellie Goulding has given fans another glimpse of her honeymoon with husband Caspar Jopling, a week after they tied the knot.

The British singer, 32, took to Instagram to share the dimly lit images as she strolled through a palace or stately home in a beautiful black gown.

Ellie married art dealer Caspar, 27, in an idyllic ceremony in York Minster Cathedral on Saturday, with stars such as Orlando Bloom, Sienna Miller and James Blunt in attendance. 

In the trio of snaps, Ellie’s shadowed figure can be seen as she strolls through the beautiful building, lined with arched walls and historic busts.

The Burn hitmaker looked stunning in a strapless black gown with a dramatic skirt and slight train as she weaves her way along the corridor.

With her long blonde tresses hanging loose with a small braid in the back, Ellie look stunning in the eery images.

The caption was clearly inspired by the title of Kanye West’s 2010 album, reading:  ‘My beautiful dark twisted fantasy.’

The post comes just hours after Ellie took to Instagram Stories to share the first glimpse of her honeymoon, almost a week after exchanging vows with Caspar Jopling.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the singer shared a single shot of herself gazing out at the ocean as a passenger boat cruises past. 

Sporting a navy bikini top and bottoms, Ellie commands attention as she stands on a rocky outcrop while enjoying the view.

Appearing to be taken in a Mediterranean setting, the image was the first from her honeymoon with new husband Caspar.

Ellie later took to her Stories to share another snap from a distance as she stood on a  rock jetty among the stunning ocean.

The newlyweds tied the knot at York Minster Cathedral at 3pm on Saturday in front of a star-studded congregation, including Katy Perry, and Orlando Bloom, James Blunt and Sarah Ferguson.

Taking to Instagram on Monday night, Ellie shared a photo of herself and Caspar kissing at the altar, alongside a gushing tribute to the ‘love of her life’.

Ellie wrote: ‘This weekend I married the love of my life, in God’s own country, surrounded by the people I cherish. Overwhelmed with gratitude.

‘Thank you eternally to everyone involved in such a special time, including every single person that traveled from far and wide to come and celebrate with us at York Minster- a place that my husband and his family hold close to their hearts.

‘I will never forget your support and generosity. We both send you all so much love and a massive hug xx.’

Caspar also shared the sweet photo on his Instagram and wrote a somewhat shorter message: ‘Thankful for everyone and everything, especially you’.

For the extravagant ceremony, Ellie looked absolutely exquisite in her traditional white Chloé bespoke gown designed by Natacha Ramsay-Lévi, while Caspar wore a suit tailored by Savile Row’s Huntsman & Sons.

Her wedding dress was said to have taken over 640 hours to make and featured the couple’s initials embroidered on the veil and collar.

The congregation were also treated to an eccentric sermon by John Sentamu, the Archbishop of York, which finished with him uncorking a bottle of prosecco as a symbol of the newlyweds’ ‘exhilarating love’.

Dr Sentamu then handed them gifts, including a Ugandan wicker basket filled with treats and a bonsai tree to symbolise that marriages can last for years.

Ellie also invited her favourite composer, Norway’s Ola Gjeilo, to perform at the service, alongside the choir of London’s Royal Holloway University.

The singer announced her engagement to the British art dealer Caspar, who was educated at Eton and studied history of art and architecture at Harvard University in the U.S, via a formal announcement in The Times last August. 

The couple had been dating since March 2017, after reportedly being introduced through mutual friends – with Princess Eugenie thought to be among them.
