Queen Maxima of the Netherlands looks radiant as she steps out for ‘Get out of Debt’ congress

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands looked radiant today as she stepped out in a stylish monochrome mini dress while attended a ‘Get Out of Debt’ congress.

The dutch royal, 48, wowed attendees at the conference at the Royal Dutch Mint today in a stylish and flattering mini dress.

The former banker, who is the wife of King Willem-Alexander, 51, attended the ‘Get Out of Debt’ Congress’ earlier today in Utrecht, an initiative designed to help people struggling with debt in the country.

It is the second time this week the royal has opted for a simple monochrome dress,  a departure from the normally bright and colourful outfits worn by the royal.

Maxima looked stunning as she stepped out at the conference event earlier today at the Royal Dutch Mint in Utrecht, which is located in central Netherlands, south of Amsterdam.

The royal wowed in her flattering mini-dress, which featured a bold monochrome print, and showed off her incredible summer tan.

The mother-of-three opted for a relatively simple yet classic look, pairing the striking dress with a pair of black heels and a simple black clutch.

And the ever-glamorous royal finished her look by stacking gold and silver bracelets on her wrist.

Queen Maxima kept her make-up look simple and chic for the event, matching a simple smokey eye with a nude lipstick.

Meanwhile she swept her short blonde hair into a side parting, letting it sit loosely on her shoulders.

In her younger girls, Queen Maxima graduated with a degree in Economics and worked as an investment banker.

It was when she was working for a string of banks in New York that she met King Willem-Alexander.

The Dutch Queen was first handed her role of Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance in 2009 by Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon

Maxima has been tasked with raising awareness of the benefits of financial systems that also help the poor.

In practice, this means improving access to savings, insurance and credit – all of which are particularly important in countries where famine and rising food prices can hit the poorest hard and, in the worst cases, lead to starvation and malnutrition.

Access to credit and savings also gives business a boost, and allows small farmers and entrepreneurs in poor countries to strike out on their own and move past subsistence.

It’s the second time in the past week that Maxima has visited Utrecht, in the central Netherlands.

Last week she joined a celebration for the 40th anniversary of the Kindertelefoon – an initiative launched by volunteers in 1979.

On that day, more than 500 volunteers work at seven locations across the Netherlands to provide confidential support to children up to the age of 18.
