Royal Mail is currently recruiting posties and Christmas casual workers as it gears up for the busiest time of the year.

Here’s a rundown of what roles are available – and everything you need to know, including the hours and wages.

Postmen and postwomen

The other opportunity is for just six hours per week on Saturday only.

Those interested must be available between 8am and 2pm each week.

Wages

What are they looking for?

According to the advert, the Royal Mail is looking for candidates who are upbeat, self-motivated, organised and flexible.

Due to the nature of the work, applicants should also enjoy spending time outdoors and have a good level of fitness – the job involves roughly six hours of walking each day.
