Royal Mail is recruiting temporary staff to help sort the Christmas post.
Britain’s biggest delivery company is expecting the usual seasonal flurry of greeting cards and parcels containing presents.
So once again Royal Mail needs casual staff at its sorting offices.
There are jobs going at Royal Mail’s Leeds Mail Centre, in Leodis Way, Hunslet, with a variety of shifts: early, late, nights and weekends.
The pay isn’t bad either; £9.50 per hour for day shifts and £11.21 if you don’t mind working nights.
The job advert reads: “Here at Royal Mail, Christmas is our busiest time of year. With so many parcels and letters coming through our warehouse doors, it’s no surprise that we need a few thousand extra helping hands to get everything where it needs to go.
“That’s why, every year, we hire temporary Mail Centre workers from all different walks of life to help us deliver Christmas across the UK.”
