How your child can receive a letter from Father Christmas this year

You can make your little one’s Christmas all the more special this year with a letter from Father Christmas himself.

With Christmas fast approaching Santa Claus and his elves are busy preparing for December 25 which is just over two months away. But not too worry as they have promised to still take some time and reply to the letters from good boys and girls excited for the big day.

With special thanks to the festive workers at Royal Mail, your little treasures will be able to receive a letter from Father Christmas himself – and it’s completely free.

While they sit and write their Christmas lists here is everything you need to know about your kids getting that all important letter from Santa himself, including his secret address.

Father Christmas will reply to all the good girls and boys

Don’t just address the letters to the North Pole. Instead, write to Santa at his Royal Mail address in Reindeerland. Remember to include an unused stamp inside the envelope.

Father Christmas told CambridgeshireLive: “Christmas is a very exciting but busy time for me: the elves are making toys, the reindeer are practising their sleigh runs, and I’m busy preparing my list of who’s been good this year.”

Santa added: “Looking forward to delivering your presents on Christmas Eve. Make sure you remember my mince pie and Rudolph’s carrot!”

How to get your free letter from Father Christmas

This part is simple, and completely free, so make sure you get everyone involved this Christmas.

Make your little ones day all the more special

After your children’s Christmas list is written, remember to include your child’s full name and address in the letter so that Santa knows where to send his reply to.

Then of course the letter needs a special address to reach Santa on time. You will need to write the address on the envelope nice and clearly so it gets sent to his official address, rather than getting lost in the Northern Lights on the way.

As Santa will be very busy getting his sleigh ready for the long journey on Christmas Eve he asks for parent and kids to send their letters to:

Santa/Father Christmas

Santa’s Grotto

Reindeerland

XM4 5HQ

Don’t forget to put a stamp on the envelope too!

The deadline for Santa’s letters

The deadline for letters to be sent is Friday December 6, 2019 – remember it’s getting into a very busy time for Santa and his elves by then so unfortunately he just won’t have time to reply.
