Isle of Man Post Office reassures customers following UK union ballot result – Energy FM

Isle of Man Post Office are reassuring customers following yesterday’s announcement that postal workers in the UK have voted in favour of industrial action.

The ballot is for members of the UK Communications Workers Union only and is a dispute with Royal Mail, not involving IOMPO.

While no industrial action is planned as yet, IOMPO will be liaising with its account manager in Royal Mail on any developments and any potential impact which would affect Island customers.

The IOMPO said that it’s business as usual in Royal Mail, with all mail being processed and delivered in the UK as normal.

As and when any updates on the situation are available, IOMPO will advise it’s customers.
