‘Brutality of the system’

Mr Corbyn says he met a woman from Gloucester who experienced the ‘brutality of the system’ first hand.

She became a mother to a baby with Down’s syndrome in 2017 and her husband died soon after, he says.

She has now been told her benefits will be cut from December 25, he says.

“She has three children and thought she would be ok after paying taxes for over 20 years,” Mr Corbyn says.
