Olympics Inspire New Stamps (Hartford Courant)

The recently concluded Olympic Games in Beijing produced many souvenirs, among them a considerable number of stamps. In fact, stamps have always been a part of the modern Olympics. The 1896 Games in Athens were partly sponsored by the Greek post office from the sale of special stamps.
