What: A $937,389 renovation of Palmer’s post office, according to Hugh Roche, a U.S. Postal Service contracting officer in Denver. A leaky roof triggered the project, said Darus Machy, USPS marketing manager in Anchorage. Crews are replacing the roof, as well as exterior siding, plus re-sealing and striping the parking lot.
