The Queen and three future Kings have joined together to bake one of the nation’s favourite festive treats in adorable pictures released by Buckingham Palace.

The festive photos feature the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George cooking up their very own Christmas puddings.

Young George can be seen getting stuck into the baking, stirring fruit mix into a large bowl with a wooden spoon.

The pictures mark the third occasion the Queen has posed for a photo with all three generations of future kings – first pictured together for Prince George’s christening in October 2013 and for the Queen’s 90th birthday in April 2016.

In one of the pictures, his father William, grandfather, Charles and great grandmother, the Queen, stand behind George smiling and laughing.

In another, the table is filled with four bowls, with all of the generations getting involved with seasonal baking.

The Queen has been patron of the Royal British Legion since 1952.
