IOM Post Office employ extra helpers for Christmas period – Energy FM

Mon, 23 Dec 2019

Isle of Man Post Office said it’s working hard to ensure all cards and parcels are delivered in time for Christmas.

To help cater for the larger volumes, they’ve recruited extra staff,  with many existing staff working additional hours and non-operational employees throughout the business helping to unload and sort letters and parcels.

IOM Post Office said it’s working closely with Royal Mail and other partners to ensure a steady flow of mail conveyed promptly to and from the Island, working hard to recover after unavoidable delays such as the weather.

Over two-million items are expected to arrive on-Island.
