The Nike Air Max 90 “London” is a special variation of the runner that honors the Royal Mail workers of the country. In terms of its makeup, a black midsole transitions to shades of midnight navy and university red on the upper, mimicking the carrier’s uniform. Traditional swoosh branding above the mudguard is infused with an inlaid chevron graphic resembling the service’s delivery trucks. Finally, the model’s typical tongue gets reworked with a stamp-inspired emblem depicting Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman on the outside, and embroidery on the inside, while crown logos on the lace aglets and insole round out the design.
Retailing for $140, look for the Nike Air Max 90 “London” at select Nike stores and online on February 10. Always keep it locked to KicksOnFire for the latest in sneaker news, release dates and where to purchase your favorite kicks.
