Princess Märtha Louise’s boyfriend Shaman Durek has shared his first photograph with the royal since her ex-husband’s suicide on Christmas Day.
Durek Verrett, 44, from LA, shared a post on Instagram last night as he posed alongside the princess alongside Dawson’s Creek actor James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly.
The couple have not been photographed together since the death of Ari Behn in December, who was married to Princess Märtha for 15 years and shared three daughters together, Maud Angelica, 16, Leah Isadora, 14, and Emma Tallulah, 10.
In the snap Durek can be seen beaming as he places an arm around James and Kimberley, while Princess Märtha smiles widely while affectionately leaning into the group.

The photograph, which Durek shared with his 158,000 followers yesterday, showed the beaming foursome posing together.
Posting the snap, Durek commented: ‘Spending time with my creative friends and family is the best in the world.
‘There is so much power when connecting with visionary souls. So much love in this fun bunch.’
He continued: ‘Tribe, tag your inspirational friends and tell them thank you. The people who inspire us should always be loved and supported.’

Durek added: ‘I love you everyone you are the light of lights.’
Princess Märtha broke her social media silence by commenting on the post with a small heart emoji.
The royal announced her relationship with Shaman Durek in May last year, but an Instagram post suggests they may have been seeing each other from at least February.
The last post the mother-of-three shared on social media was a tribute to her former husband in January, in which she wrote about his battle with his mental health.
Sharing the snap online, Durek said he loved the group and felt ‘so much power connecting’ with the ‘visionary souls’
Princess Märtha went on to break her months-long social media silence by commenting a heart emoji on the post
Sharing a post with her 150,000 Instagram followers, Märtha wrote: ‘We are so infinitely sad and sorry for the loss of just you, because you were the girls’ warm, funny, wise and good dad that they so dearly miss.’
Former Norwegian royal Ari had battled against alcoholism and spoke last year about feeling ‘terrified’ with ‘devouring anxiety’. He made headlines in 2017 after accusing disgraced actor Kevin Spacey of groping him under a table.
Ari killed himself just a year after admitting he felt like a ‘clown’ following the divorce from the Norwegian royal.
He separated from the fourth in line to the Norwegian throne in 2017, after the pair said they had ‘grown apart’.
Princess Märtha and Durek are believed to have been dating for over a year, publically announcing their relationship in May last year
Members of the Norwegian Royal Family led the mourners who turned out to pay their respects at his funeral in January.
A solemn Princess Märtha Louise was joined by Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Queen Crown Princess Mette-Marit and King Harald at the Olso Cathedral.
Ari’s eldest daughter Maud Angelica delivered an emotional eulogy to her late father during the course of the service.

Princess Märtha Louise, and her daughters Emma Tallulah Behn, Leah Isadora Behn and Maud Angelica Behn then proceeded to place flowers on the casket of the Princess’ ex-husband.
Shaman Durek did not appear to be in attendance at the event but paid tribute to Ari in a post online shortly after the event.
Alongside an image of a floating lotus flower, he posted: ‘Out of deep respect for Märtha and Ari’s children, I will not comment on the passing of their father, not now nor later, other than to say I am so incredibly sad for their loss.’
