AN Ulverston school will be in concert with The Royal Marines at an exclusive concert this weekend.
Members of Ulverston Victoria High School’s Wind Band will be performing a concert with the The Royal Marines Band on Saturday at the Coro Hall.
As well as this, the school will be staging a joint social evening on Friday featuring UVHS Swing Band and the Royal Marines Dance Band.
Prior to the concert on Saturday, Sergeant Annabelinda Hardy will be giving a Royal Marines careers presentation at the Coro Hall about what life is like in the service, what to expect in terms of selection process and also further life opportunities such as degrees, promotions and pensions.
The talk will take place at 12.30pm, whilst the concert is at 7.30pm. Tickets are between £7 and £15 and available at the Box Office.
