A source told us: “It’s common knowledge most of the dealers are all online now. They use snapchat and instagram to put up their menus and post pictures of bags of pills and small bottles of liquid.

“You can get anything you want and it just arrives in the post.

“They are making most of their money from THC oil that people use in vapes. It doesn’t smell and is very popular at the moment.”

Drug dealers are sending their gear through the post.

Royal Mail bosses are taking the issue extremely seriously and have teamed up with other agencies to combat the growing problem.

A spokesperson said: “We work closely on the ground with law enforcement agencies, including the police for domestic mail and with Border Force for international mail.

“These agencies help us to stop the carriage and delivery of illegal drugs that are ordered on the internet.

“We also encourage our postmen and women to report to their managers any suspicious items which we then promptly refer to the authorities.”
