People living in these London postcodes will get their post delivered late after problems with Royal Mail

Mail posted by some Londoners will not arrive on time today Friday (July 24).

This is due to processing problems Royal Mail had on Thursday (July 23) evening.

Some post arrived late at the London Central Mail Centre, meaning not all of it could be processed.

Consequently, mail posted by Londoners from four different postcode areas on Thursday evening may not arrive to other parts of the UK on time.

A statement from Royal Mail said: “Last night late arrivals of mail into our London Central Mail Centre meant not all mail could be processed on time.

“As a result, some mail posted in the EC, N, W1 and WC postcode areas yesterday for delivery today in other parts of the UK may arrive later than expected.”
