Suspect questioned by Harborough police after he ordered a Taser-type gun from abroad

A suspect has been questioned by Market Harborough police after he ordered a Taser-type gun from abroad.

The man was held and questioned after police intercepted the stun gun as it was being delivered to his home in Arnesby, near Fleckney.

Officers acted after being tipped off by the Royal Mail.

A suspect has been questioned by Market Harborough police after he ordered a Taser-type gun from abroad.

Police said: “Today we arrested a male for ordering a Taser-type device from abroad.

“Any incapacitant spray or Taser-type device is illegal and considered in law to be a firearm.

“Please make sure you know the rules before ordering. “You are liable!”

Officers are continuing to investigate the highly-unusual incident.
