Royal Mail Hit With Antitrust Suit Over Test Kit Deliveries

Law360, London (August 7, 2020, 2:31 PM BST) — A medical testing provider is suing Royal Mail for blocking it from using a free delivery service, accusing the postal service of abusing its dominance by imposing “unfair and unreasonable” terms.

Preventx Ltd., which provides remote diagnostics services for sexually transmitted infections such as HIV and hepatitis, alleged that Royal Mail Group Ltd. has violated its duties under competition law by forcing it to use a more expensive tracking system for home testing kits.
