Traffic delays reported across Devon and Cornwall – live updates

Traffic delays are being reported throughout Devon and Cornwall with road incidents ranging from crashes to holiday traffic.

A section of the A39 in Cornwall remains closed in both directions following a collision this morning between a car and a Royal Mail post van.

Long delays and queuing traffic is causing motorists problems along the A30 by Three Burrows in Cornwall.

Very slow traffic has been reported on the A30 by Pathfinder Village in Devon.

On the A390 in Truro, holiday traffic is believed to be causing very slow traffic along the A390 Eastbound from Falmouth Road (Truro) to Lower Park (Tresillian).

A police union has warned people not to treat this weekend as a “party” before the new “rule of six” coronavirus restrictions come into force on Monday.

The Police Federation said there was a “real risk” that the public would “take advantage of the current situation”.
